George`s Senate Coney Island in Soutd Lyon

I will never eat at this restaurant again as long as I live. I do not recommend it to anybody it's a waste of money. McDonald's is a step up. I cannot believe the food quality that this restaurant serves. I haven't eaten there in four months due to the last couple of occasions. So I figure tonight they could get it right. Not at all. Do not waste your money!

Good food generous portions and great wait staff

Horrible! It took the waitress 20 mins to get us water. My two yr old was starving and i had to flag down another waitress to get her a grilled cheese sandwich which the cheese wasn't even melted in. Then 15 mins later our waitress finally took our order. It wasn't even that busy. Then my 2 yr old pulled plastic out of her mouth from the sandwich! When i told the waitress she blamed it on us saying the cook doesn't use that kind of plastic in the kitchen. Unbelievable! Never going back again!

Very good coney island every one says the fish there is excellent and fresh every day

I have been going here religiously for years. My last few visits have been horrible. The food has been poor in the prices have increased by at least 30 percent. After tonight's visit, we are definitely never going there again.

Ate at most of George's Coney places...this one is nice as well, good service.l

My favorite coney place by far! Staff is very friendly and the food is great, large portions too. A slight bit on the pricy side for some dishes.

I eat here often. Good food, nice owner but wait staff not always friendliest but Ive waited tables and its a sucky job. Love their lemon rice soup and spinach pie.

Great home cooked meals at reasonable prices. Love that they have outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. And George is a great host!

Had guests from out of town and stopped in for breakfast, the quality and quantity was outstanding. Everybody was impressed. Plus had the best homemade corn beef hash ever.

Just took my son to this place for breakfast, and it wasn't the best experience. The Table and bench seats were disgusting and sticky. The bus boy came over and wiped all of the table crumbs to the floor, leaving the table unwashed. He also seemed like I just turned his xbox off in the middle of a game when I asked for an additional napkin to wipe the syrup bottle down. The blue haired waitress was very impersonal and cold; her attitude pretty much sucked. The food was awesome, if you enjoy your breakfast cold. When I went to pay, the older lady upfront asked how it was... LOL I just said that it wasn't very memorable. She then proceeded to give me a huge attitude. This place is the worst.. should've went to Lucas.

Nothing fancy about this place or the food, but they have a back room that is big enough for the Saturday morning breakfast gathering of our local ham radio club and they let us use it for free. Also, the service is attentive and always appreciated.

Homemade food at a great price

Food was average. Service was terrible. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for the server to come to the table. The guy in the kitchen had to go look for her. Her phone rang three different times. Had to look for her again when we wanted to pay.

This will be the third time in a row that I have went to this establishment and my order was wrong or something was forgotten. I called to speak with the manager (Brandon) and he advised me that this is standard quality service and food. Our fries had been reheated and saturated in grease to the point they are dark brown. Our salad and dressing were also not in our bag. Brandon said " What do you expect when you have steaming food sitting in styrofoam". I could not believe how rude he was. I will NEVER go there again. Lucas Coney Island is one mile down the road. They will appreciate my business and hopefully anyone's who is reading this.

The staff is nice, but every time I order a salad it's greasy. Greasy salad. I don't even know how they manage it!

The food was very good, service was good and the restaurant was clean. The price was reasonable and portions were good sized. Been here 3 times and never a problem!

Food was warm, not hot. Toast was burned asked for another came out the same, burned.

Good breakfast at good prices

Great food possibly the best restaurant I have been to in Michigan when I come back and visit Michigan I will be coming back . Great atmosphere,great staff, great food what else can you ask for!

Good home cooked type food. Has specials each day serves breakfast and lunch and dinner. No alcohol

It wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't good. The food was cold and the waitress told me she could "nuke it". It would be better if it was just prepared hot and fresh to begin with.

For a coney island this one is not very good. Not tasty at all.

Soup very salty. Coffee luke warm. How can you mess these menu staples up? Lucas down the street much better food.

We will miss Alex and his staff as today was his last day at this location. Wonderful service, food and atmosphere.

The waitress was very nice, but the dishes and utensils were so disgusting I almost walked out. I had to ask for a new fork and the coffee cup smelled like dishwater. The plate was slimy and had fingerprints all over it

Good soup, meais, needs more clean up of floors. Wait staff pleasant.

Not sure why some reviews are so bad. We're new to town and have eaten here two or three times and have had a great experience every time. Food's good, not too expensive and the waitstaff is always friendly and keeping our coffee warm.

Sticky tables, forgettable food, & understaffed. There is a reason no one was in the restaurant during dinner time...

Casual family dining with reasonable prices. Salads are huge. Great place for a Coney Dog.
